Quantity × factor = kilogramsOnly weight units should carry a factor. A unit at 0 still counts in FOB value and shipments but adds no tonnage. Defaults: KILOGRAMS = quantity, GRAMS ÷ 1,000, METRIC TON × 1,000, POUNDS × 0.4536. Count units such as NUMBER, PIECES, SETS or DOZEN are not weights and stay at 0.
